What's the difference between glycerol and glycerin? I have a photo shoot in a couple of days and was wondering if I could use glycerin as a substitute for glycerol.

Actually, glycerol and glycerin are one in the same. However, if you want to use glycerin, make sure the product is 99 percent pure and that it is USP-standardized (meaning that it meets the standards for manufacture and distribution of the nonprofit corporation U.S. Pharmacopoeia). Also, the glycerin should be sweet-tasting to reflect the sugar alcohol content. If all of these qualifications are met, the glycerin product may be considered safe to use.
On the other hand, you could simply order the Neo Elite Nutrition product containing Glycerol instead. You can be assured of receiving a pure glycerol product that undergoes a strict quality control process, and it is USP standardized.
